Neil has more than forty years' experience working in the fields of industrial engineering, operations management and automated systems planning, design, development, and implementation. His focus is on manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, fulfillment, packaging, and supply chain logistics.

His career includes ten years as an industrial/packaging engineer with a major automotive supplier where he worked in various key management/ engineering assignments in Philadelphia, Detroit, and Gary, IN operations. His responsibility included technical interface with “the big four” automotive companies developing stamping logistics and modular shipping containerization. Neil relocated to Arizona where he took on the role of corporate automation engineer with responsibility for four major manufacturing and distribution operations with a Fortune 100 international electronics manufacturer. These operations manufactured and distributed IBM controllers and desktop terminals.

Neil left the corporate world to create his professional consulting services practice. He was the founder of CONFACS Group, Inc., as well as a founding member of the international consulting engineering and design group Consultleague, LLC. Neil has continued to operate CONFACS as one of the cornerstones of Consultleague. The CONFACS team's most recent engineering and design experience has been centered in the southwest. CONFACS provides critical expertise to SME business leaders meeting CDC guidelines for intralogistics safety-engineering plans to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus in their industrial workplace.

Neil's decades long consulting practice includes assignments throughout North America, Europe and China. These assignments were performed for clients such as Allied/Bendix, Andersen Window, Boeing, Columbia Sportswear, Dell, Dial/China Mfg., Ford Motor Truck, General Electric, General Instruments, Halliburton, Hewlett Packard, Hughes, IMED, Johnson & Johnson, MARS, Motorola, Nike, Philips, Ryobi, Symbol Technologies, IBM, DFS Hawaii, Scotts Miracle Gro (Hawthorne Division), Quiksilver, Vistar/PFG and PING Golf … a sample of his 100+ clients. His provided services encompass design, engineering, contract project management and implementation programs. Completed projects include twenty-eight greenfield programs with a wide range of manufacturing, industrial process, warehouse, and distribution companies throughout North America.

Neil has twice been the 1st Place Award Winner of the Chicago International Promat Material Handling Show Design Competition. He has been a frequent speaker at the Promat International Conferences. He is a member of the Material Handling Institute's Supply Chain Solutions Consultants Group. Neil was elected to a two-year term with the College Industrial Council on Material Handling Education (CIC-MHE) to work with professors at leading engineering universities and colleges.

Neil has spoken at numerous international, national, and regional conferences with IEEE, APICS, SME, MHE, NCOF, NEPCON, and AMS. He has conducted workshop sessions at the NEPCON West Show for eight years on lean and continuous improvement programs. Neil’s undergraduate studies were undertaken at The College of New Jersey (Trenton State College) in engineering technology education and five years of industrial engineering and technologies studies at Purdue University Calumet in Hammond, Indiana.
